RUFIO
Rufio is a male DLH stray, estimated to be around 2 years old. He was abandoned alone on the beach in 2019 and has since integrated into a nearby stray colony.
Rufio is a very sweet and sensitive boy. He is quite shy and is very afraid of the other cats in his colony. However, he is slowly but surely accepting human affection. It is obvious that Rufio used to have a home, as he is struggling to acclimate to his new life outdoors. Rufio's fur is consistently kept very clean and neat. Sometimes we think that Rufio is always waiting for his old owner and wants to make sure he looks his best for when they come back for him. Unfortunately, we do not believe they will ever return.
Rufio would do well in a loving home either as an only cat, or with another calm and gentle cat that would not bully him.
