MA NZELE (Pretty Lady)
Ma Nzele is a DSH female, estimated to be born in early May, 2023. She is currently a resident of our shelter.
We found Ma Nzele in the park when she was about 3 weeks old. A large group of young children had come to the park on a school trip, and were chasing around the stray cats trying to catch them. Unfortunately, this meant that many of the children were being quite cruel to the cats. We saw Ma Nzele in the middle of the children and, fearing for her safety, we managed to intervene and take her away from them. We believe Ma Nzele’s mother was chased away, as we could not find any other kittens or adult cats after the children left. So, we had no choice but to take Ma Nzele into the rescue.
Ma Nzele has proven herself to be quite a special little kitten. She is fearless and will easily take down her much larger adoptive brother, Kuluna. She knows how to make herself be heard, and will run back and forth through the shelter letting out what we can only describe as a battle cry. Additionally, Ma Nzele is one of the smartest kittens we have ever seen. Despite being brought into the shelter at such a young age, she has never once had a bathroom accident. She immediately took to the litter box without any help. She truly is both the brains and the brawn!
Ma Nzele would do best with another kitten her age to play with. While not necessary, she would love to be rehomed with her adoptive brother, Kuluna!
