CORNCOB
Corncob is a DSH male, estimated to be born on April 28th, 2022. He is currently a resident of our shelter.
One night when he was about 4 weeks old, Hajar found Corncob alone at a train station. He was very afraid and kept running close to the train tracks to try and find safety. Hajar looked around the station, but could not find Corncob's mother anywhere. It was not a safe place for him to be left and he was too young to be alone, so Hajar zipped Corncob up into her jacket and took him back to the rescue.
Corncob is our resident trouble maker- but with good intentions! Being too smart for his own good, he has figured out how to open the door separating his room from the cat room next to his. Multiple times per day, Corncob could be found opening the doors and running in between the two rooms for playtime. Unfortunately, this meant he was letting the sick cats mingle with the healthy cats (the reason for the room separation). Consequently, we had to install child safety locks onto the doors, which has seemed to deter Corncob for the time being.
Corncob is an all around lovely cat. He loves cuddles, he loves to play, and he knows how to make his humans laugh.
