CHAMP
Champ is male stray who is estimated to be around 1 year old.
Champ was found suffering from scabies and severe malnutrition. In the couple of weeks it took to find transport to get him to the vet, Champ's condition declined drastically. We were worried that if we couldn't find somebody to help us move him soon, he would not make it. However, we managed to get Champ to the vet in time. He received treatment for his scabies, flea treatment, dewormer, and all of his necessary vaccines. His condition has since improved significantly!
Champ is currently a stray and had to be returned to the streets after his treatment. We were able to convince a local man to keep an eye on him, as the man already keeps an eye on two other stray dogs in the area. We provided the man with a big bag of kibble, so Champ's belly will stay full until we can find him a foster family.
Champ does not have a bad bone in his body. If we didn't know any better, we would think he was made of 100% pure sugar. He would make the best companion for anyone willing to adopt him (just look at how at home he was for his first car ride!). He was so grateful for the love he received from our volunteers. It is obvious this boy only wants a best friend to do life with.
Despite Champ having someone who is keeping an eye on him, Moroccan streets are still very dangerous for stray dogs. The government does not tolerate their presence, so we worry harm will come to him if we cannot find him a foster family. If you or anyone you know would like to adopt or foster Champ, please send us a message via our Contact Us page.
