Adoptable Cats
What You Need to Know
Adoptions- both shelter and stray cats are listed on our adoptions page. However, only the cats currently residing in our shelter are available for worldwide adoption. Until there is a space open for them in the shelter, the strays are available for African adoption only. Whether or not the cat is a stray or shelter animal will be clearly indicated in their individual description.
If you are interested in adopting one of our cats, please submit your interest via our Contact Us page and we will send you an adoption form to fill out!
Additionally, on each cat's page you will be given the option to sponsor that specific animal, donate to that specific animal, or add them to the Priority Waiting List. Please see below for more information.
Sponsorships (virtual adoptions)- we understand that sometimes you might fall in love with one of our animals, but are unable to commit to a physical adoption. So, why not virtually adopt instead? Our automatically recurring monthly sponsorship program allows you to contribute to the cost of any individual animal's care that you would like, ensuring they receive everything they need to be happy and healthy. In return, you can opt into receiving a personal update on what's new with that animal each month. If a virtual adoption sounds right for you, then simply click the sponsor button on your chosen animal's page.
Donations- donating is one of the best ways to help out the animals. All donations go towards food, medication, spay and neuter, and other medical treatments. Every little bit helps! If you have fallen in love with a specific one of our animals and want to contribute a one time donation directly to their care, please select the donate option on that animal's individual page. All money donated to an individual animal will be spent exclusively on their needs.
Priority Waiting List- the Priority Waiting List program allows you to ensure that your favorite strays make it into the shelter as soon as possible. This means, when a spot opens up in our shelter, we will aim to fill that spot with a stray cat on the Priority Waiting List on a first-come, first-served basis. The cost of putting your favorite stray on this list is 50 euros. 100% of this donation will go towards the cost of that animal’s care on the streets in the meantime, in the form of food or any necessary medical treatments.
